Hi! My name is Brandy and I am a 14 year old Golden Retriever and I was born in Rugby on the 18th February 1995. One of my pictures is me on holiday last year. I love me holidays and when they start to pack the car I insist on sitting in the boot so they don't forget me. We all walk along the beach and I can paddle in the surf and lie in the rock pools to cool off. Often we meet up wuith my friends and family and we all play ball, but now I'm getting older I like to sit and watch them all enjoying themselves. When I was a puppy I used to eat everything I could find and one day I swallowed a large pebble that got stuck in my stomach. Because the pebble was smooth no one could feel it and I was quite ill before they operated on me and removed it. After that surgery I had a lot of problems with my tummy until I was 5 years of age, and a friend recommended that I go to Rainsbrook Vets. I had to have another operation, and they had me sorted out in 4 weeks! Since then I have always gone to Rainsbrook vets. The staff know me now and make a fuss of me. I visited them in January this year for my yearly check up and Mr Dnaiel found a mass on my spleen when he was checkin gme over. We decided to operate even though I was worried, but the surgery was fine and I feel really well again now. So i just goes to show how important it is to have your annual check ups. If I hadn't of had my last check up, I might not be here now to tell the tale. Love n' licks Brandy xx
