Veterinary Surgeon
A Veterinary Surgeon is regulated by the RVCS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) and has to be qualified to register.
To become a Vet Surgeon you will need 3 A Levels to enter a university that offers a vet degree. There are currently 7 universities, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Nottingham. Course duration varies but the minimum is 5 years.

Veterinary Nurse
Vet Nurses provide supportive care to animals
receiving
treatment within a vet practice. They provide excellent nursing care, education and ensure the health and welfare of pets.
To become a vet nurse you will need to have a minimum of 5 GCSE's, be registered at a recognised vet practice (training practice) and go to college for at least 2 years. After exams and case studies and regular
assessments
you become a Veterinary Nurse.

Veterinary Receptionist
Veterinary Receptionists provide a vital role in practice communication. No formal qualifications are required, but dedication, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
